Australian buyers will soon be able to purchase the Apple iPhone for the sum of $259– and they can purchase it at a Coles supermarket.

Apple's latest iPhone model range commences at just under $1200 and can reach prices of up in excess of $2300, even the most affordable new iPhone, Apple's iPhone SE is priced at $649 and that's still too expensive for a lot of potential purchasers, and this is one reason why Boost Mobile and Coles are teaming up to provide second-hand phones at low prices.
If you've thought about where the devices end up following phone owners people upgrading, or the phones are traded in for the latest phone - there's a large market for new second hand smartphones.
Now these phones are not an old used smartphone, they have undergone an assessment that makes sure these handsets are authentic, and are in as new order.

With the phone priced at $259 this will interest Mum and Dads looking for a phone for their children, it will also appeal to consumers who do not want to buy a brand new smartphone.

The Coles and Boost iPhones are not network locked, are able to be used with any mobile network, but they come with an included Boost SIM card with $10 value.
While there's going to be many of phones ready for sale initially, contrary to new handsets there's no factory supply chain these or any refurbished phones, and so it'll be an early bird catches the worm type of situation for these new /old iPhone 7's upon launch in Coles Supermarkets on Wednesday.
